The idea of Fortydayschallenge.com came into being when I studied books on neuroscience, neurogenesis and mindfulness. I was fascinated to learn how the brain has the capacity to regenerate itself at any age when we bring about certain changes in our lives.
Rewire Your Brain in 40 Days is a challenge that you can take up to change anything you wish in your life. You can take up the challenge to change your character, your habits, learn a new skill, learn a new language, better concentration and focus to succeed in life and practicing mindfulness, all this by rewiring your brain in just 40 days.
This website/blog is a resource for those between the ages of 35-100 years and above because new brain cells are born till the day we die.
My name Sushma Webber and this website is my brainchild to share my knowledge of the resources available for anyone who wishes to take up the challenge of rewiring their brain at any age.
I have a great vision for this small idea. I have started with writing a blog and creating motivational products to help with the forty days challenge. I will be sharing information on products that can help people with their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being.
The purpose for this website/blog is to be a helpful resource that you can come to as often as you wish to be motivated to take your life in your own hands and changing the things in your life that can be changed. To begin with we will focus on:
As J. Krishnamurti has said:
‘The first step is the last step.’
It is important to take the right ‘first step’ towards rewiring our brain and living a life of effortlessness. I hope this endeavour will be helpful for you, your family and friends.
In my attempt to Rewire my own Brain I recently participated in NaNoWrimo 2014 where we had to write a novel of 50,000 words in 30 days. I was able to write 10,456 words. It was an amazing experience. Novel writing is one way of engaging in creative activities as an adult. It is important to continue to cultivate creativity as adults and fortydayschallenge.com is a resource to encourage people to do so wherever you are in your life.
